 Orientation Night for Community Christian Academy & Trinity Baptist Preschool is August 17th at 6:00pm!
Meet in the Sanctuary. After the Opening Ceremony, we will all go to the Gym to receive the Family Handbook, Vests, Lunch Order Forms and meet the teachers. Parents- You may go ahead and bring school supplies to be placed in classrooms.  It is almost time to kick off another exciting year at Community Christian Academy! We look forward to welcoming our students and families back on Monday, August 21st.
However, there is another spectacular event that coincides with our opening day of the 2017-2018 academic year – the solar eclipse. After careful consideration, we have decided to dismiss students at 12:30 p.m. to allow everyone to get to a safe location for viewing this historical event. We feel this is a much better option for families rather than being in carline and then on the road when everyone will be wanting to look upward. We will spend some time on this day discussing this event on grade appropriate levels and plan on sending our students home with their very own pair of eclipse glasses. Hopefully, when we all return on Tuesday, there will be many wonderful stories to share with classmates. If this early dismissal causes a hardship on your family, please contact the school office this week at 706-426-8881 and we will be glad to work with you. With such an exciting beginning, this year at CCA is sure to be the best yet. Thank you for partnering with us! *Please send a lunch with your child. We will be having lunch before dismissal. Serving Him, Ms. Beverly Neal Principal  First practice for cross country will be Wednesday, August 2 at 8 am at Grovetown Trails at Euchee Creek Park.
***This park is located off Harlem-Grovetown Rd, in between the intersections of Harlem Grovetown Rd and Louisville Road and Harlem Grovetown Road and Trudeau Road. Please google it before you come because the park itself has no physical address that I can find. If you navigate to 401 Urial Drive, Grovetown, GA 30813, you will be very close to the park. Wear running shoes, light clothing and bring a water bottle. Plan to pick up at 9:30 AM. You must have you sports physical completed to practice. If you did one last year, it expires after one year. We usually do ours at Med Now on the corner of Belair and Columbia (you can walk in, and I believe it’s $25) We will also practice Friday, Aug 4 at 8am. Thank you!
